Healthy Working Mom

I am a mom, wife, teacher, blogger, and wannabe fit-mom! I have two lovely boys, Peanut and Button, and a Hubby who is my best friend. I enjoy dancing and might even get back to my old hobbies of crafts and home-decor. But for now, I am working on making my home and family as healthy as I can...one step at a time. It isn't easy when working full time, but it is my MOST important job after all! Being healthy is a necessary component of being a mom. It does not usually happen all by itself. Between disturbed sleep, working all day (be it at home or in the workplace) keeping up with the shopping, cleaning, laundry, homework and, most importantly, the social, academic, and spiritual growth of your children, our own wellbeing is often overlooked. Here is a place to find healthy alternatives to everyday things such as food, containers, cleaning products etc. It is also a place where general advice will be handed out as I learn things, discover a new and better way accomplish something, or just plain think you might like it. I will get deep and thoughtful on Thursdays...feel free to agree or offer alternative opinions and generally join in the conversation. A healthy mind and body for mom, a happy family all round!
