In September 2009 my son, Sammy was diagnosed with High-Risk ALL which is more commonly known as leukemia. He faced the fight of his life and has come out the winner! We watch and hope it stays that way.
Superman Sammy is a blog I created while spending weeks in the hospital. It began as a place for me to journal what was happening so my family could keep up to date without endless phone-calls which I had no energy for. It became a place I poured my heart into. Superman Sammy was always personal, never promoted, yet many people cam to read and share their own experiences or offer support.
Now we are on the other side, I am going to promote this blog…to raise awareness which leads to more support for childhood cancers, and raises hope that one day we will find a cure!

Go outside at least once a day, and if possible, take a walk. The sunlight and activity is good for your focus, mood, and retention of information.
Good advice, thank you.
